| CLARA HUNTER. Clara or Kit as she was known, born on the 23/2/1887 was the youngest child in the Hunter family. Her life during childhood followed much the same pattern as her older brother and sisters in regard to school and youthful events. Kit married Perc. Vincent who was a bricklayer by trade. Whilst he was away working Kit stayed at home and managed their small farm as well as tending the children. Elsie Mary b.1912 Married A.H.Walsh Clara Phyllis b.1914 Married John Collier Percy Edward b.1920 Married Joyce Griffin Norman William b.1923 Married Margaret Wilson Kit was quite an expert at sewing and did dress making for all the family. In addition to her sewing she was also very skillful at crotchet work, and produced many beautiful lace doilies and tablecloths. In later years Kit was interested in voluntary work at the Moe Bush Nursing Hospital in Moore Street, Moe. Kit's descendants and their families still live in the Moe district. Clara (Kit) Vincent died on the 10/2/1956. | ||||||||||
