BIOGRAPHY: Peter and Janet Kinnear lived in Balmullo, Fife and worked in the mill at Guard Bridge. BIRTH: Janet Wood - b 07 Sep 1839, ch 15 Sep 1839 Leuchars, Fife Parents - Alexander Wood & Catherine Louden (b 03 May 1807, ch 10 May 1807 Abdie, Fife. Parents James Louden & Janet Bett - IGI Batch C1144004) - married 21 Nov 1835 Abdie, Fife. IGI Batch C114455. Brother - Robert Louden - b 29 Mar 1812 Abdie, ch 05 Apr 1812. MARRIAGE: According to their marriage certificate, Janet's residence was: A Shaitors (??), Parish of Logie, Fife. The ceremony was performed "On the seventeenth day of March 1860 at the Free Church Manse of Logie. Marriage (after banns) was solemnized between us according to the forms of the Free Church of Scotland". Logie, a village and a parish of NE Fife. The village stands 3 miles NNW of Dairsie station, and 5 NNE of its post-town, Cupar. See marriage notes The church of Logie was under the Abbey of Balmerino previous to the Reformation, and Archibald Keith, the first Protestant minister, who was appointed in 1562, had both Logie and Balmerino churches under his charge.
